Bu projenin amacı, dersin uygulaması kapsamında yabancı öğrencilerin eğitim hayatlarını geçirdikleri Erzurum’un tarihi güzelliklerini ve kültürünü tanımalarını sağlamaktır. Aynı zamanda gezi esnasında öğrencilerin gezdikleri yerlerin tarihini öğrenirken kültürler arası etkileşimin sağlanması ve sosyalleşirken Türkçelerinin de gelişmesi hedeflenmiştir. Öğrencilerin gezip gördükleri yerler hakkında edindikleri bilgileri, deneyimlerle edindikleri için öğrenmelerin kalıcı olması beklenmiştir. İlaveten yabancı öğrencilerin ve Türk öğrencilerin bir araya gelerek kendi yemek kültürlerinde önemli yeri olan yemekleri yapmaları kültür aktarımı kapsamında yapılacak etkinlikler arasında planlanmıştır. Bu proje kapsamında gözlemleyerek, değerlendirerek ve paylaşarak öğrenmeleri ve çevrelerini keşfetmeleri fırsatı yabancı öğrencilere sunulmuştur. Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretmenliği öğrencileriyle birlikle gezilerde bulunacakları için dil gelişimleri için de bu etkileşim önemli katkı sağladığı söylenebilir. Küresel öğrenme (glocal education) bağlamında hem yabancı öğrencilerin hem de Türk öğrencilerin yapılan etkinlikler sonucunda kültürlerarası etkileşim çerçevesinde önemli kazanım sağladığı ifade edilebilir.
The aim of this project is to enable foreign students to get to know the historical beauties and culture of Erzurum, where they spend their education life, within the scope of the course implementation. At the same time, it is aimed to ensure intercultural interaction while students learn the history of the places they visit and to improve their Turkish while socializing. It was expected that the students’ learning would be permanent because they acquired the knowledge about the places they visited through experiences. In addition, it is planned that foreign students and Turkish students will come together and cook dishes that have an important place in their own food culture, among the activities to be held within the scope of cultural transfer. Within the scope of this project, foreign students are given the opportunity to learn and explore their environment by observing, evaluating and sharing. Since Turkish language and literature teachers will go on trips with their students, it can be said that this interaction makes a significant contribution to their language development. In the context of global education, it can be stated that both foreign students and Turkish students have gained significant gains within the framework of intercultural interaction as a result of the activities carried out.
